About

The Parkinson’s Association of Central Alabama (PACA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of patients, caregivers, family, and medical professionals affected by Parkinson’s Disease (PD).

PACA Board Members and Volunteers are patients, friends, family, and caregivers based in Montgomery, Alabama that have all been affected by PD in different ways. This unique blend of perspective and experience provides PACA a strong foundation through which to positively influence the lives of those affected by PD throughout the River Region.

PACA supports a holistic approach to PD treatment that emphasizes progressive clinical and respite care tools and techniques for patients, caregivers, and their families. PACA promotes and advances this holistic approach to treatment through fundraising and awareness campaigns focused on medical research, respite care, counseling, and educational services.
